Day 3

Aaaahhh. This hurts! A little bit of temperature during the night. Took some samplea for analysis. Everything seems to be fine. Looong sleep. Ok, semi-intensive care is over! Up to 4th floor. New neighbours: an old lady, does not seem to friendly...

Day 2

Semi-intensive. Long night, little sleep. Somehow the machine that makes ping decided to show all its soun repertory. Up we go. Time to sit in a proper chair. Back to bed. Will spend another night in semi.

Un email molt curtet per dir-vos que l'operació ha anat molt be. Han
sigut 6 hores d'operació però segons el cirurgià tota ha sigut molt
fàcil (el meu heroi). No hi havia cap afectació del pancreas que era
el tema més delicat. Pel mateix preu li han tret tambe la vesícula, un
dos por uno...i els nodes linfàtics en contacte amb l'estòmag (aquest
és el tema en que s'epecialitza aquest grup). En les properes setmanes
analitzaran els nòduls per veure el nivell dpafectació, però són
optimistes. Ara ens queda per devant una llarga recuperació, uns 10
dies en el millor dels casos a l'hospital, pero estem contents d'anar
cremant etapes!

Queridos,

Un email rápido para informaros que la operación ha ido muy bien. Han
sido 6 horas de operación, però según el cirujano ha sio muy fàcil (mi
heroe). No habia afectación del pancres, que era el tema más delicado.
Por el mimso precio también han sacado la vesícula, un dos por uno...y
los nodos linfáticos en contacto directo con el estómago (es el
aspecto en que se especializa este grupo). En las próximas semanas
analizarán los nodos para ver el nivel de afectación, pero los médicos
son optimistas. Ara nos quedan por delante una larga recuperación, 10
dias de hospital en el mejor de los casos, pero estmos contentos de ir
superando etapas!

Dearest

A short email to inform that the operation went fine. Six hours al
together, but according to the doctors it was an easy one (my
heroes!). At the end, there was no affection to the pancreas, which
would have been the worst case scenario. We also got the hepatic
vesicle removed for the same price, pay one take two....and the
linfatic nodes around the gut clean up (this group specializes on this
kind of procedure, apparently it minimize the risk of metastasis in
the future). In the following weeks they will analyze the nodes to
assess the level of affectation, but they are optimistic. We have now
a long recovery ahead, 10 days in the hospital if everything goes
smoothly, but we are happy to move to the next stage!

D-day: 090911

Les forces ocultes del mal han fet creure al sr juan que l'operacio es a les 6:00. A les 5:45 s'apareix a la porta "creiais que os ibais a escapar si mi!". El facturo cap a l'hotel. 7:45 tot llest monica aseada flanquejada per la familia feliz i la veina emputada perque no hem callat

Pre D-day

Tres trucades perdudes del Parc Taoli, ja fem tart. Hem estat a l'hotel urpi fent un mos i se'ns ha fet l'hora. Habitacio 410. Hi ha una senyora que fa servir els exits de los 40 de politono. A les 23:30 ve l'infermera a fer unes preguntes i donar-li un valium per dormir...pero l'angelito ja dorm...
